My greatest passion is painting fine detailed artwork where the viewer feels the urge to reach out and interact with the painting, from trying to peel back the chipping paint to picking at the rust of an old rusty bolt.

My subject matter is often very simplistic-everyday objects that are often overlooked. Old doors, chipping paint, battered fence posts and rusty padlocks–to me they represent a passing of time-though in their declining state still retain a powerful presence.

Even an old, aged fence post or weathered window, with its worn and tattered curtain, represents a thing of beauty, character and charm.
