The piece entitled Woman was made with acrylic on canvas using negative space, texture and color to define the soft and subtle expressions of a woman. The negative lines define her shape and position as she is caught looking away at something. Meanwhile, the color helps fill in the figure as it creates soft movement and depth for the viewer. The viewer’s eye constantly moves around the figure filling in the detail and expression of the woman.
