“Bushwick has become one of the largest artists’ communities in Brooklyn, New York City and possibly the world. The exhibit “WAH Bridges Bushwick”, with over 60 artists, is a survey of this phenomenon. Exploring the works of artists in this show, one can identify new trends that the Bushwick artists community is contributing to the art world. The show is a reminder that if one scratches the surface, one can see that there is a colorful story in each artist, something that shows a skein of connectedness among all humans. This show fulfills the WAH Center’s “Bridge Concept”, bridging to Bushwick and its artists, just as previous shows the WAH Center have bridged many different international, national and local artist communities.” – Brittany Natale
