Salzburg’s Museum of Modern Art to Return Klimt to Heir. According to AFP, Salzburg’s Museum of Modern Art will be returning a painting by Gustav Klimt to the Canadian descendant of its original Jewish owner, from whom it was stolen by Nazis. The 1915 painting, Litzlberg am Attersee, once belonged to Amalie Redlich. Georges Jorisch, an eighty-three-year-old retiree in Montreal, is Redlich’s only heir. The painting is worth nearly $30 million.
