One of my strengths as an artist is my ability to look at the world around me and find a strange beauty in things overlooked by most people. I can draw inspiration equally from the close-up character lines on a human face and a well-designed logo or ad. It is the culmination of these many influences, infused with my own satirical commentary, which forms the basis of my current work. My art combines elements from the 60s pop artists, great illustrators of the past, the television culture of my youth and from design movements over the past century, with my own artistic and technical abilities.

I am inspired by the works of Mucha, Vargas, Warhol, Kruger, Ritts, Rockwell, Parrish and Close. The result is a detailed, in-your-face style of representational pop art that I am very excited about.
