My work’s intention is to be beautiful. To communicate, to express, to
discover, to evolve what I think and feel is beautiful, valuable, important.  To do this I feel, I must show that ‘Abstraction’ can be as or more subjective-personal than ‘Representation’. The work, the process moves in a subjective time frame, responding to moments in a day of observations that are stimulated by my daily experiences- conversations, road signs, lyrics, poems, media – news, radio, print, photos, television, film, billboards, memories, dreams, etc. The images here become departures. Then the discipline of letting it all go – trusting, allowing for the unexpected but welcomed discoveries of an objective consciousness takes place. And inadvertently this new, abstract, narrative forms.
