Since the 1990’S, plastic arts in the Gulf Co-operation Council (GCC) countries, in general and in Bahrain, in particular, have witnessed noticeable specific improvement and steady development in terms of quality production, and in terms of individual and group exhibitions. Perhaps the most obvious development is the intense contribution of innovative works on the part of women.
