Le Quattro Stagioni (The Four Seasons) by Marina Cuccus, exhibited at the NAC, Nucleo Arte Contemporanea, Cagliari, Sardinia, Italy. The Four Seasons is a cycle of four canvasses of great dimensions accompanied by sound.

The visual and the sound elements are strictly related, the fusion between what is seen and what is heard is the focal point of the creative performance. They are born as careful consideration of the elapsing of time, on the inexorable rhythm of passing-by days. They are a story that goes across the scent of spring, the vitality of summer, the chromatic feast of the autumn, the silence of winter, but not only this. In her Four Seasons, Marina Cuccus destroys the form and leaves color and sound to fulfill a balance of emotions that traverses time.

The lack of recognizable images allows the onlooker to create, together with the artist, their personal view of human time, the time of a solar year but also that more complex and articulated time of life, from birth to death, the hours of the day, the rhythm of the heartbeat, one’s own unique season.
