I was born of an imaginary Latin American Andean trace searching for the permanence of life in the fiery depths of a habitat that is cosmological, traversing the geography of the rocky edge of Chile, Atacama Desert in tactile, pictorial space.
With textures, scratches, stains and glazes I recreate deep three-dimensional visual effects that define each element, plane and chroma that appear both figurative to abstract. I transform images collected from a foreign land hoping to awaken lost codes, as a call for help for nature and in memoriam of the ancestral XXI century.
