My gouache paintings are made in a unique style using fine brushes to apply multiple semi-transparent layers on an opaque one. This meticulous and labour-intensive technique results in a wide range of nuances, in a style reminiscent of old photographs. My work typically deals with human emotions. With a very limited use of colour and a great sense of composition, I portray these emotions in an extraordinary way.
