    Q: Why figurative paintings?
A: Out of fondness for the human figure. Emaciated bodies, bearded, the beard is the excellency of the human condition; vanitases
    Q: Masculine human figures so?
A: Vanitases are girls. Black, red, turquoise as the end of blue, shadows for the light: God always needs the Devil, with capital letters.
Q: Why do your paintings vaguely remind us of Caravaggio?
A: Out of fondness for human figure, which is just as vaguely, reminiscent.
