William Lamson was born in 1977 in Arlington, Virginia. He earned his BA from Dartmouth University and received his MFA from Bard College. Solo exhibitions include venues such as Pierogi in Brooklyn, ArtSpace in New Haven, and Nieuwe Vide in the Netherlands. Lamson has participated in the MacDowell Residency. His work is in the collections of the Dallas Museum of Art, the Brooklyn Museum, and the Kiyosato Museum of Photographic Arts. Lamson currently lives and works in New York.
