    VINCENZO BUSA

My painting comes from my interest in everything that is color.
Most everything assaults my senses, stirs up me and breaks my retina. For this reason I love the German expressionistic masters.
In my recent paintings, I either display narratives about cities, infrastructures, women and boxers- all artistic excuses for making a painting. I really feel that I should paint everything- I try to assault the color with acids, bleaches and solvents, to get back or to find again what I’ve lost at my age: to sense a visual wonder of the world.
