Painting is the visual result of my determination to recognize the gift of creativity in my life. Painting gives me the privilege to examine the world with increased sensitivity. The process encourages me to find bridges that connect passages of time, geographic areas and shared emotions. Subjects that show age and weather, words that reflect memories, landscapes that have paths to follow -these are inspiration for me. Travel starts the creative process for me. I collect thoughts in a journal, images in a sketch book and photos for reference to be completed in my studio.
