My unique style presents classic art rendered in the traditional folk-art of paper-cutting or ‘psaligraphy’ which evolved in China 2000 years ago.  It then travelled via the Silk Route, to Central Europe, notably evolving with strongly regional variations in Austria, Poland and Germany.

I use watercolor, pen and ink, mixed media and paper cutting to create my artwork. Each delicately hand-cut artwork is from a single sheet of paper, some time I use more than one piece. My artwork is influenced by flowers, geometric patterns and symbols. Yet I take a unique and personal path in my storytelling imagery, exploring the dynamic opposing forces that shape our personal trials and triumphs in life, love and beauty.
