Every spring the Tribeca Film Festival rolls through lower Manhattan for a short but rich visit. The festival, founded in 2002, partially as an effort to reinvigorate Manhattan, is now a New York City staple. There is always a dynamic line-up, including independent films, documentaries, narrative feature-length films, and shorts. Happening from April 16-27, here are a few of our top picks for this year:
Time Is Illmatic, Directed by One9
