    Mitchell Innes & Nash focuses on materiality and uncanny painterly approaches.  Visitors will love Anna Betbeze’s large scale, pigmented Greek Flokati carpet works.  The show includes Anna Betbeze, Josh Brand, Jessica Jackson Hutchins, Josh Tonsfeldt and will be on view until February 23rd.

     

     

     

    Three NYC Group Shows To See This February

    As everyone recovers from winter blues and post-holiday slump, NY Arts Recommends 3 group shows this February.

    Deep Cuts at Anna Kustera is a salon style show featuring abstraction, figuration and even a pair of jeans.  Curated by Wendy White & David Humphrey the show will be on view until March 2. Including: Tomer Aluf, Inna Babaeva, Brian Belott, Julia Bland, Caroline Chandler, Jennifer Coates, Jamian Juliano-Villani, Mark Kostabi, Doron Langberg, Austin Lee, Eric Mack, Nikki Maloof, Liz Markus, Robert Melee, David Miko, Sam Pulitzer & Mathieu Malouf    Eric Mistretta, Pameka Norris, Erik Parker, Rachel Schmidhofer, Henning Strassburger, Kianja Strobert and Lee Vanderpool.

    Brian Morris Gallery, a new space that recently opened on 163 Chrystie, will host a group show entitled Tectonic Drift that opens Feb 13th.  The show boasts a roster of familiar NY painters and sculptors including Amanda Church, Brian Cypher, Stacy Fisher, Gary Petersen and Russell Tyler.
