I am always interested in matters of the future and the past, which determine my artistic style. Things we forget and things we imagine are far more poetic than things of reality. Art is meant to be surreal and at same time, authentic. The direction of time is one of sequence and uninterrupted lapses. I wish that I could sense the form of memory and retain it. In my attempts to capture memories, I use a powder-like and unstable material to symbolize inconsistency, but this inconsistency defines my imagination. Imagery is merely an excuse; what’s important is the independence of spirit.
