Susan Fishgold

My works are monotypes – unique prints – on paper or canvas, usually
worked into with pencil, crayon, guache, watercolor and other mixed
media. I am inspired by forms in nature, and I work with certain shapes
and gestures for a long time, sometimes developing the same image for
months or years. I like to see the variations in color, and how the
colors relate to each other, and the rhythms and energies of those
variations next to each other.
