    Linear Abstractions

    Samuel Ebohon

Paintings are paintings because colors are involved in its creation. Colors in themselves elicit different emotions on their own without the artist’s input. I draw my inspiration from the effect of colors that are so very well blended by nature. My works are characterized by criss-cross linear strokes, which tend to abstract the forms that are the subjects of the paintings. I do this not to merely mesmerize, but to convey specific emotions. I try to reach more into the depth of the viewers mind and intellect in the hope that my works will not only be pleasing to look at, but will also add value to their collection and most of all, touch a part of their existence as men.
