My paintings express my
sense of wonder of the natural world. More than just an abstract view
of objects, I explore individual beauty and the divine connection to
all things. Working in water-based paints and encaustics allows me to
be spontaneous – layering shape, texture and color and linking spirit
with canvas – to draw the viewer into the moment of viewing – to expand
the experience – to bring a sense of calm before moving on with the
demands of the day.
