My
work is very much about life, and the action of the creation process.
The action of the stitching for example and my reaction to it. The
rawness of it all. The textures of the paint and the changing moods
within the paint, the dark to light, the rough to smooth. Life itself.
Stitching of lives, emotions and memories. Although abstract, my work
is a direct reflection of myself, life, emotions. I remember times in
bits and pieces of the distant and not to distant past. I’ve tried to
express, feelings, without relying on images, that have been so
powerful in my life.
