Rocco Alberico – Stella Kim

I made a visit to Rocco Alberico?s studio. I found myself capturing a small glimpse of the process in which he creates his sculptures. There were many drawers all neatly labeled that were filled with small trinkets that he collects from everywhere. On a table is his most recent work in progress, a structure with two small mounds. One is made from small sticks and the other of aluminum tubing. The inspiration for this piece comes from the artist?s fascination with beavers and how they build their dams. Following are some images I took of his work area and sculptures in progress.
