Younger is perfectly capable of stylistic decorum, but he’s not afraid to be silly either; he’s something of a prankster. He has made many substantial installations, indoors and out, over the past 15 years, but he has also recently taken to assembling Scotch-taped diptychs from color snapshots; many are self-portraits, all are undignified in one way or another.
