Looks like black and white is back! Well, I think so. I like old illustrators and printmakers mainly. I like to think I draw in that spirit. I’ve done a lot of cartooning.  I like cartoons, particularly old ones, I like the funny pages, I like old books. I like good drawing. I work backwards a lot, details first.  It’s probably not helping me, but it might be. You be the judge. Thematically, I’m not really socially conscious; I’m just scared of society, and of the world around me. I’m particularly afraid of the freedom-loving peoples of America. I think they want to attack me, because I’m a lazy pretentious artist and because I refuse to work. They don’t know what my friends and I all know: there is no such thing as freedom

They don’t know what my friends and I all know: there is no such thing as freedom. There never has been, and there certainly won’t ever be anything like it. When environmental catastrophe and/or fascism happens, we’ll be the first to die and they’ll eat us. I believe that America should be high, playing music, drawing pictures, screwing openly and living in harmony with nature. What the fuck is wrong with that? This is what I want to convey with my art and with the example of my life. But, it’s tough because, as you get older, you get more like them. Let’s go Mets!
