Aber, lives in Southern California and has been working in the visual
arts since the mid 1960’s. Aber is more inclusive than reductive and
finds the use of polemics helpful in defining his work relative to the
human condition. So, as a consequence, you will see both figurative
and non-objective works. Each used as a means of creating a dialog
between elements and a more complex conceptual understanding.
