I use the traditional oil painting techniques, starting with fine layers of diluted paint and ending by brushing on a final application of pure oil. I like to pay attention to values and colours in order to create the impression of a haze in the background, while working intense light effects in the foreground. I play with complementary colours in order to accentuate contrasts and create luminous effects. I like to paint peaceful environments, places where it is good to stop and just be for a moment. I take my inspiration from various locations I have visited.
