Rachel Simmons teaches visual and environmental art courses at Rollins College. Her mixed media and installation-based work takes a critical look at environmental issues and ecotourism. In 2008 and 2009, Rachel traveled to Antarctica to research how climate change and ecotourism are affecting the Antarctic Peninsula. Rachel’s next destination is Iceland where she will study appropriate scale and landscape sustainability.
