Bortolami Gallery presents a group of new paintings by Warsaw-based artist Piotr Janas, Minotaurs. The artist refers the nine paintings as “figures” or “self-portraits”. The paintings are composed of geometric forms occupied by organic marks and scratches, while also including detailed body parts and fleshy organs. These grotesque paintings somehow also reflect the visual resonance of organic beauty.
