Peter Cerutti is a physician-scientist of world renown. For his contributions to the molecular genetics of cancer and aging, he has received several international awards. Cutting short his scientific career, he received his second vocation and has invested his creative energies into painting. His artistic education was completed by an extended stay in the “Fine Arts” and “Decorative Arts” in Paris.
Cerutti is especially interested in the basic form of nature and especially to that of humans. His vision reflects the complexities and promise of contemporary life and extends into the 21st century. His paintings express “in style” emotions today by controlling the texture, composition and color.
