Minako Yoshino is a Japanese artist based in NYC. She is a painter and sculptor, working in mixed media including oils and marble in the traditional and contemporary style. Through her artwork, Yoshino portrays natural forces moving seamlessly between the personal realm and the universal. She attempts to convey a sense of complete and simple acceptance of our connectedness and identification with all things in the universe. Yoshino has shown her work both in the US and internationally, and is endeavoring to reach a greater audience with whom to share her vision of peace and universal connectedness. Her October 2005 Exhibition in Tokyo, titled Liberation II is described as, almost like asilent opera. It will show you spiritual energy in a whole gallery space through the art. Yoshino says, "listen to your soul, remind yourself who you are, just allow yourself to be yourself, and you will know the real reason why you are here in this great universe."

Yoshino is the recipient of several art awards, including the National Sculpture Society’s "Best Young Artist 2004" award. She also showed her 7ft painting and poem, "The Earth and Humanity" at the Earth Society annual award show in the UN plaza hotel in NYC 2005.
