    Michael Clyde Johnson (b. 1981, western Nebraska) currently lives and works in Brooklyn, New York. In 2009, he received his MFA from Hunter College, New York. His work has been exhibited widely, at venues including Socrates Sculpture Park, the Bronx Museum of the Arts, and the Newhouse Center for Contemporary Art, all in New York City. He has also had a two-person exhibition at the CAS Arts Center in Livingston Manor, New York. In 2010, he participated in the Artist in the Marketplace program at the Bronx Museum and was shortlisted for the Public Art Fund’s In the Public Realm competition. Recently, he was awarded a residency fellowship at Sculpture Space in Utica, New York.
