Reflections:
What I can remember, the knights appeared one afternoon in my studio, – possessed my body and soul – and my hands took this big sheet metal scissor and cut them in an instant. It is all about: Work, do, search, remake, consider, improve, create. The cycle continues. Symbols, archetypes, myths and tales are essential for my art making. The protector, the so called real man, the confident man, and so forth is often a “knight.”
It is hard work being an artist, because I can’t push myself to do instantly what I feel inside – a lot of mistakes are made throughout the process. Experience in life and searching, searching…suddenly these blessed moments.
