Maria Elvira Briatore was born in Mar del Plata, Argentina, in 1972. She studied painting in the workshops of Sara Garcia and Daniel Vidal Uriburu in Buenos Aires and at the Workshop del Prado, Madrid, Spain (1997 – 2000), and sculpture in the workshop of Antonio Oriana.
