We are a generation born after the 80s. We have not experienced wars or hunger. We have not been a part of China’s rebuilding process, but we enjoyed the happiness that resulted from that process when we were young as we watched animation films and ate our Jell-O. When we grew up, we began to feel the pressure in real life and realized nothing was the same as in childhood. We are overwhelmed with loneliness and a sense of danger, and we deal with art in a unique way, unlike that of the previous generations. Mr. Jiang Goes Fishing is about an emerging cloning age in China. As the phrase “Made in China” appears all over the world, it foretells the coming of the “Cloning Age.” Image

Mr. Jiang Goes Fishing is about an emerging cloning age in China. As the phrase “Made in China” appears all over the world, it foretells the coming of the “Cloning Age.” The cloning spirit in human beings results in the massive manufacture of pirated products. It is a mechanical activity. Once humans get too involved, it easily turns them into a weak, mindless race. It is said that China is facing a crisis where people are losing individuality. The constant pursuit of riches becomes a new group characteristic.
