Lisa Renko is a native New Yorker, painter,
installation/performance artist, and recently actress in Bill
Rabinovitch’s film “Pollock Squared” starring as Lee Krasner. Involved
in a number of public art projects on the streets of NYC, she actively
pursues and investigates ideas and directions that she feels
authentically challenge established art lexicons. Her recent show
“Church”, at the 1st Floor Gallery, created in collaboration
with Michael Matel turned our view of the spiritual upside down and
right side up again.
