with an innate interest in nature and ecology, I have spent many years
building up a diverse collection of art. Motivated by a constant
awareness of the ever-evolving interaction between mankind and the
natural world – my art is a reflection of this.There
seems to be a constant draw to the Ocean and to life within it. Several
of my collections will celebrate this visual "conversation" between the
Sea, where life began, and the beauty of the mysterious earthly
elements I introduce into the work. This fascination with the sea is
rooted in childhood, growing up by the sea in Scotland.Recently my collection was described as visceral and intense, I hope it will draw on sensual emotions relating to the subject at hand.
I hope my art works as a reminder that man cannot ignore what feeds him both practically and spiritually.
