Rhythm of The Woodland People
Color speaks to me in an intimate language and we become one in the telling of my story. There is no doubt that my indigenous world view plays a large part in the explosive bursts of color within the world of my painting. It is my way of formulating the existence of the past intermingled with the present. I invite the viewer to embrace the canvas and perhaps find his or her own stories. They may be different than mine, but we will share them in the universal bond of humanity.
