You can’t place my work into any one category as I love to mix it up to keep it fresh and diverse.  When I paint abstract paintings I tend to incorporate bold, bright, earthy colors next to rich, reflective metallic colors like gold, bronze, copper and silver.  This creates a timeless, whimsical near musical feel. With the use of a palette knife and brush I create crisp lines and smooth blended areas.  Often, a dot here and a swirl there all come together to make a lively composition intended to take the viewer to another place. Like chocolate is to some, I crave working with metallic paint. It’s a passion, obsession – its reflective quality, stirs my soul.
