Kilu’s portraits reveal a “life within objects,” a mystical force that demystifies the natural life force of phenomena. His mesmerizing colors, systematic lines and curvatures are achieved in a multi-step process of photography and digital darkroom alchemy. Kilu captures his unique observations on camera and documents the visual outcome using canvas and lambda print process. Through this method of working, Kilu seeks to elicit the unseen, the unexplored and the invisible.
