basic premise is that a work of art has to be beautiful and must adhere
to the highest standards of expressive execution and preservation.
"Beauty Matters," the title of her next exhibition, refers to Danto’s
scholarly exposition of the subject (The Abuse of Beauty, 2003, p.
127). Beauty in the Visual Arts is easily recognized–it is only a
generational anomaly that treats the concept as suspect. Natural
experience is the basisfor her subject matter.
