A vibrant life like feeling in painting is the key point that I am mostly concerned about. Amidst the painting process, pouring pigments and drawing lines, I try to balance the controlled parts and the out of control ones. Just as there are two sides to the same coin, my painting spans both abstraction and figuration. Intuitive spontaneity as well as a planned outline make my painting vibrate. Jeanie Lee is participating in a group exhibition, "Reverie," at the Broadway Gallery March 1-15.
