The aesthetic of industrial use of metal has always fascinated me. I like the idea of blending the destructive, strong, resistant, powerful, sides of industrial pieces and machinery with the more emotional and aesthetic purpose of art. It is like absurd creations of robust and indestructible (even destructive) objects in contrast with the cheaper ones we see in our everyday life. Our experience of life allows us to judge the performance and the resistance of an object. I make use of the way we perceive our world by visually exaggerating these characteristics.
