In my paintings I experiment with the use of layers of color. In my wool collage works, I want to reflect the same experimentation with layers of color and texture. My moods are reflected in the colors chosen for my collages.
Wool is a national signature of Australia. I wanted to create my wool collage experimentations as representations of Australia. My works are rich in color and texture and are inspired by the Australian landscape. I think they are a glimpse into the land, which inspires me as an artist.
