The work East Wind and West Wind is inspired by the mirror and the light; both were first invented in the West. As the symbols of luxury and quality life, they are getting more and more popular, and can be easily spotted in the East. We selected soft and warm cashmere to wrap up the glittering mirror as well as its golden frame. Every crystal of the chandelier is also wrapped in velvet. Thanks to the exquisite handicraft, the brightness darkens and the existence disappears. As the mirror reflects no more and the light shines no more, viewers lose the object to look into and to look through.

As the mirror reflects no more and the light shines no more, viewers lose the object to look into and to look through. As a result, it is impossible for them to hold onto their visual reflection or shadow. We hope that the darkness we present can lead viewers to their true selves hidden deep in their own hearts and stay away from the illusion and seduction from the outside world.

Through the Suzhou embroidery, the work Spring and Autumn is made up of patterns of bank notes from different periods and different countries that have been withdrawn from circulation. These notes turn out to be a memory and a symbol of a previous era even though they were immobilized for all kinds of reasons such as political and economic upheaval. The demise of the note tells the death of the era. The pattern on the note was once the totem and principle of the nation and the regime. It not only shed light on the culture and custom at that time, but also indicated the nature of the regime and the belief. The Suzhou embroidery is famous for its exquisite needlework. It is this characteristic that makes the representation of the convoluted history possible. The glinting silk tells remote stories of the history on the sheer black yarn. In front of the work, visitors are inspired to pursue and question the past and the future.
