In my earlier works the human figure was very dominant. I offered a broad scale of theme, from dark and mysterious to humorous, even grotesque. In recent years the human figure has become less important. However, the characteristic handwriting of a drawer is still lightweight and now provides the basis of the new abstract paintings. Forms are created, crossed, reduced, and captured again. I have taken a further step and refine my forms as a free rhythmic organization of lines and planes of the so-called “structure paintings.”
