Einstein proved that the world has more than three dimensions. Yet even that was only the beginning of further exploration into space, time, energy and higher dimensions. Modern quantum physics now points to an infinitely-dimensional universe. As I have always looked at art as an exciting venture into an unknown world, one which can only be embarked upon by someone who dares to take the risks, I began working on “Dimensions”. In this series I investigated the phenomenon of chromatic aberration, which gives rise to imaging errors (color fringing) in the human eye. This optical phenomenon also causes 2-dimensional pictures to appear 3-dimensional if they are created with an artful composition of colors.
