Gianfranco Meggiato

Gianfranco Meggiato’s use of material, shapes and space bring a strong visual impact to his bronze sculptures, reflecting ideas of a surrounding complex and universal energy.  The artist’s sculptures frequently portray a central orb shape made of an intricate labyrinth of web branches.  This visual language is how Meggiato translates his main concept, revealing the nature of the Energy of Life. Having already participated in the May 2007 group show “Awakening” at CVB gallery, this will be Meggiato’s second show in New York.
