Being an artist is not a profession, it is a way of life; one does not paint for the sake of painting but inner necessity. But this way of doing, must be accompanied by a know-how. I am convinced of the art of technique, which explains my relentless search for artisanal knowledge.
The artist while a creator, is a craftsman, because his technique is part of his signature. This explains a relentless pursuit – painting should be fluid, free and spontaneous, it is the technique that gives us the necessary tools to achieve this.
