    FRIEZE LONDON: TENTH EDITION

Frieze London, sponsored by Deutsche Bank for the ninth consecutive year, will take place 11–14 October 2012 in Regent’s Park. Frieze London is one of the world’s most influential contemporary art fairs, bringing an international focus to the dynamic contemporary art scene in the UK capital every October. Taking place in a temporary structure designed by architects Carmody Groake, Frieze London is a carefully selected presentation of the most forward-thinking contemporary galleries from around the globe.
The tenth edition features a new section: Focus. First introduced at Frieze New York, Focus is for galleries established after 2001, showing up to three artists.
This year, coinciding with the London fair, Frieze is proud to introduce Frieze Masters, a new fair with a contemporary perspective on historical art. The crossover between the two fairs promises to make London the focus for a broad international art audience.

Amanda Sharp and Matthew Slotover, co-directors of Frieze, commented: “We are delighted to be presenting our tenth edition. This year is an exciting one for the company. Having successfully launched Frieze New York in May, we’re now looking forward to our two UK fairs. Together Frieze London and Frieze Masters promise to make London in October one of the most anticipated moments in the international art world calendar.”

Michele Faissola, Member of the Global Art Advisory Council, Deutsche Bank said: “Every year, Frieze London gets tens of thousands of people thinking about how we see the world through art. Deutsche Bank’s art programme shares this aim by providing a platform for artists and encouraging our clients, employees and shareholders to engage with creativity. Deutsche Bank is proud to share its passion for art with Frieze.”
